piston ring help
piston ring help i was gapping my junk yard 5.3 rings for my turbo build to .028. well thrusday night i litterally spent 1 hour on one ring. so friday i managed to screw one ring up in less than 10 min and its now gapped to .042.
what is the best option for me at this point. ive been looking for a 5.3 engine for cheap on craigslist. wouldn't mind having spare block. would hate to buy a new set a rings since all other 7 pistons are ready to go.
anyone have a good top ring for 4.8/5.3?
