If your going to change out the oil pump get a oil pump from a dod engine they put out more pressure then a hv pump 18% is not much hv. Oil sending unit might be bad change it out for $50. Yes you can reuse gasket on the pan if you dont want to reuse gasket drill out the 2 rivets that hold in place send the $50 and buy a new one...
