LS3 heads are a nice upgrade, but you'll need new intake manifold, new rockers, new fuel rails and probably new injectors to go with the LS3 heads. Just things to think about when comparing them to some nice catheral port heads like AFR 230 V2 heads, TSP 237s or TFS 235s. You can keep all the LS1 stuff if you want.

Ls3. You can get an entire ls3 top end (used of course) cheaper than aftermarket cathedral port heads. Will more than likely make a little less hp, but great bang for the buck with money left for some nitrous!

Was thinking of getting all that anyway so it might not be a problem. I love the fast 102 on top of those heads. I wouldn't mind saving up for some nice AFR's or other ones you mentioned.

Are they good flowing heads? How would those compare to the AFR's?

Ported ls3's are certainly are a great best bang for the buck type of head. It really comes down to budget and what you are looking to do. We can provide those or if you want a great performing cathedral setup, we do have our PRC 237 head that also allows you to run a stock rocker. Feel free to give us a call if you want help deciding which route to go
