Will this work?
I'm building an LM7 for my 92 S10. I plan on eventually running 7-10psi off of a Procharger with a goal of around 500WHP. I an getting Wiseco forged pistons and KaTech Rod bolts. Will these two additions be able to handle 500WHP on a daily basis once the Procharger is put on with the stock crank and stock rods? I know the rod bolts are almost mandatory for anything over 400WHP.
Why the stock rods?
While that's not a lot of power for the stock rods to theoretically handle, why not upgrade the rods to even a basic forged piece for not much more while you already have the block apart?
Think about this way. Stock rods + katech bolts will probably run you ~$250. A set of Eagle or Callies forged H beams (with arp 2000 bolts) is only $300 more and will be much stronger than OEM ones.
IMO that's well worth it.

These are the ones that I am looking at.
