Im trying to do a little upgrade and not break my bank by jumping on a FAST. I have a 2006 GMC Sierra Denail w/a LQ9. Is the TBSS LS2 intake gonna be better all around hp/tq gains compaired to the LQ9 truck intake? I know the TBSS intake is a 90mm tb on it vs the 78mm on the LQ9. Just trying to basically weigh my options if it is worth buying it opposed to the FAST.

I don't think it is an upgrade vs. the truck intake. Many people blindly assume the truck intake is bad when it is better than the LS1 and nearly as good as the LS6 and most reading says an unported LS2 is a step backwards from an LS6.

Another option might be a later model truck intake I think those have a little larger TB.

my 08 has a 90 or 92mm tb you can buy a new one from gm form like $125

Cathedral Ports? Also wont a 90mm throttle body fit in the LS2 intake?
