Default What's a proper piston size for 4.030 bore?

I was going to buy a complete forged stroker kit for 2k plus 150 balanced. But I think I will buy everything separately since its easier for me to come up with a smaller amount of money than a big chunk. Yes I know save it but I'm the type that if I know I have money i just spend it.

So 4 inch stroke crank
6.125 rods with apr bolts
And what size pistons?

a good machinist will match the size of the bore to your pistons and label which one goes where. Not every piston sized for 4.03" will be 4.03". They will be out by thousandths of an inch. Buy the pistons, and then do the final hone to each piston size.

If you bought a set of forged pistons off the shelf for a 4.030 bore they would typically be .003 to .005 smaller than the 4.030 bore. If you bought a set of cast pistons they would be .0005 to .002 smaller than the 4.030 bore. But this all depends on the brand and the intended application.
