Default considering options on 408 build

ok so im debating on what i should do here for 1 408 build i want to do.. let me start of by saying this is going into a 1972 camaro rs and have been going back and forth on what i should do.

I have looking for the engine complete either a LQ4 or Lq9 and out here in cali these things are gold!! i know other places they are cheaper but cant seem to find a good deal or at least one thats worth it, so ive come to 3 options

1) patience is a virtue-- wait it out and wait till i find something post up on here or get lucky on CL(which is also a gamble) or try to find something come up locally and shove her in and get her running then eventaully pull her out and go 408!!

2)get a bare block from summit for $797 to my door already a 408 and save up for the rest, or something that pops up here or that i find aswell.

3) just save up a lil bit a get a short block from tsp for about $3,500 which realisticly isnt a bad deal or get ahold of a sponser on here and get one

what you think i should do/ or you'd do..as always want to be able to get it done as cheap as possible and not the most patient person hahah

I'm selling my 402 complete if interested. (All great parts, no corners cut) But I can also part it out. It's a 10 sec. Motor that will put down around 530rwhp to the tires. And I'm in Cali.

I've got a for sale thread in the western section classifieds.
