Did the ls6 intake last night
I did notice that my head ports were covered with a lot of oil, would this be because of the PCV system? Would a catch can help this a lot? I know I am burning oil now just by checking the dipstick, I am about 1qt low after 3k miles.
Thanks

I can't wait to get the tune, knowing I will only gain driveability and power from it makes me so happy!
As for tips, don't bother buying the front coolant pipe or the rear plugs. Save your $40! I took my stock coolant x pipe off and cut the front right after it merges, then used some pliers to pinch it. Got some solder and a blow torch and soldered it shut, works perfect (or you could get it welded at a local exhaust shop) Make sure you take the o-rings off the pipes before heating them up. Did that for the rear too. I also tested them by using an air hose (I am lucky my buddy has air tools
)Another tip is mechanics gloves
Also, there are little plastic nubs the stick down from the cowl that hold the rubber seal, remove those or your arms/hands will be cut up like mine.

And before you start the job, go rent a torque wrench from murrays that does inch lbs.
Other than that it's a very easy job, we could have finished within 3hours if we really wanted to

I will know what Lt's, orp, cutout, and ls6 intake net me on the 29th when I have a tune. Also, the dyno number was on a mustang dyno...

Some minor block grinding required.
There is probably a technical article on it somewhere on this site.
