budget intake for ls1?

right now im still on stock ls1 intake, but im soon gonna be going with a cam so wanted to start accumulating parts and an intake is #1 on the list. i dont wanna spend $300 on a ls6 intake. nor do i wanna spend $1200 for a fast setup.
what are some other options? is there a way to make a ls3 intake work on an fbody? from what i understand, they do very well ported.

thoughts? links?

Ls6 is your best bet. That's about your only option.

Everyone is going to say ls6. There are alot of h/c combos running ls6 intakes making over 430rwhp. Its def a proven intake.

Cheapest alternative is ls6
You could get a LS3 intake to work.
Just need to change to rectangular port heads.

I you don't mind going with an aluminum intake then get a BBK SSI,, new it'll cost you $460(ws6store), and a lot less used.

Ls6 intake P&P TB. You can also get a 4bolt conversation spacer for ls6 intake too instal a four bolt 90mm TB, run ported nick Williams 90mm TB for the win
