What I said was a bit of a blanket statement.
All builds are different, and every application will require different parts and pieces. I'm not saying you should ALWAYS turn from roller rockers... Just that the majority of people don't need them.
Everything has it's place.

Let's all back up a second. There's still no proof that the latest revision of the YT's are problematic.
Until there is, all of this is just reactionary hearsay.
That being said, roller rockers can't just be slapped on any engine. You need to run the right pressure springs that are shimmed to the correct height, the right valves, stiff pushrods, the works. Unless you've got bronze guides in your heads there's no reason to use them. If you're looking for hp gains out of these things, you'd better look elsewhere. That's not why you should be running them.

For now, 4000miles, daily driven to 7500rpm (all gears!)...
- silent as day one,
- much better than OEM with trunion upgrade for the idle vacuum and the electronic % of throttle opening blade
- more power from 6700rpm to 7500rpm
- no more rubbing (damaging) on the tip of the valves
let see how long they go being tortured that way.

I will make the community aware if a breakage happen on my Yella Terra Ultralites generation 3 obviously...

Yes. I spent quite a bit of time setting them up to center the wipe and get it narrow, curretly at 0.045" width. Then the setup was updated with 3/8" double taper pushrods. The value of the pushrods was evident in the upper RPM on the dyno, much cleaner and it actually picked up 6 hp with the additional valve train stability. The 5/16" pushrods were likely flexing, which will hammer the rockers.
PS, when this happened to Scorpion a few times, people literally stopped buying them...no love for the American company selling American Made products...AND who hired quite a few of the tech guys/reps from Crane when they went out of business a while back. Oh yah and they offer a lifetime wnty on their rockers. No need to wait to contact them. My .02.
