Question Sleeper Cam??

im looking for a cam that will keep a near stock sound but will add some good hp gains. i know of the ls6 cam and ive heard some good things about it, but its not a real power house cam in the end, is there any others that can give out more power and still keep the near stock sound. any advice on this matter would be much appreciated. thanks

edit-ill be gettin long tubes when the time comes to get a cam so i can tune it with headers and cam both installed.

I have a sleeper cam that put down 397/391 with bolt-ons. there's a dynosheet on my website that shows power thru gutted cats.

I ran a TR220 cam for a while. It was definately a sleeper, but made 416rwhp 392rwtq with a set of patriot 5.3's and a stock tune. That was without a ported tb or electric wp also. Idled nice and pulled good everywhere. Texas Speed has a cam very close to it that they call their "stealth" cam. Check it out.

I would look into the Lingenfelter GT2-3 Cam as well as the MTI stealth Cams.

I had TTP put in a 224/224 .563 114lsa cam with the crane dual spring kit and its a sleeper cam for sure. At least with long tube headers and stock titanium catback..

Cars got a ton more power...(all told mods on car attributed to ~70 rwhp more than stock) but I believe i could at any time sell the car as a stock Z06..

We picked up a buddies G25X cam the other day and we were laughing our @sses off how radical his car sounded versus my stock sounding car..

I wanted an emissions friendly package and the 224/224 114lsa should pass with the usual ls1edit tuning..

The Lingenfelter GT2-3 is as stealthy as it gets. Dead stock idle and makes 370 - 380 rwhp w/ boltons.

You could also look at Thunder's "old man" cam as for the MTI i'd get the Stealth II.
