Default Forged internals

Building a 5.3 from a 2001 suburban for my c-10 and getting ready to send the block to the machine shop. Does anyone make a forged bottom end for the 5.3? I know the factory components are strong in these motors but going for some big numbers and want to cover all my bases.

Rods are the regular 6.125 for a 3.622 stroke and Wiseco makes some 3.8 or 3.82 pistons I believe which is a slight overbore.

why not go after more displacement? 3.905 pistons cost the same as 3.8-.82 pistons. pretty much a "free" upgrade as you'll be paying to have the bores sized any way you cut it.

not sure if you're going N/A or not, but if you are the increased displacement would also be a "free" bump in static compression which is definitely desirable. Combine that with some 0.040's for tight quench and you'll have an explosive setup (literally, but in a good way).
