What timing chain do you have
,did your ASP pulley need to be machined and are you running the stock or a ported LS6 oil pump. I am doing a cam swap in a week or two and I am getting all my parts together. I want to buy a double roller but I am not sure if that combination with an ASP pulley will cause me any problems. So to avoid any explicatives during the install I would like to verify FOR SURE before i plop the money down for nothing.
To my knowledge the spacers that are sent with the timing chain is what causes the pulley to have to be machined.

When I did my cam swap I went through all the reservations your going through...
I stuck with the stock chain (car had 18K on it) and stock oil pump, if you have low miles and aren't going with a huge bump stick the stock stuff including retainers is fine in my opinion.
I decided to save the 400+ dollars on the items above for when I go with a bigger cam and potentially AFR heads next year.

Did my Rollmaster double with the ASP pulley and no problems. The vettes need to watch out, haven't heard of any problems with the F-Bodies.
