Default looking for good spec on turbo cam???

Ok guy I have a 370 with ls3 top end.. looking for a turbo cam this is what's in it now I was told its a small cam 215/223 604/610 115 lsr I plan on doing a 78 mm front mount turbo it will be a street strip car .. what do you guys think should I keep it or is there more power to be made with a different cam if so what's your specs? Thanks

That is a small cam for a 370.....I'd look for something closer to a 228-230/234-236 your lift sounds good and your lsa sounds good, I'd just like to see more duration

Dependent on your goals of course, but a few extra horses from a different cam probably wont be worth it knowing you will be making most of your power from boost.

227/235 .614/.621 114 LSL lobes.

But then again n/a HP increase from a cam swap can be amplified greatly by the additional of boost

There are a lot of 1000rwhp turbo cars/trucks that use cams smaller than the one you have. I would contact Jarrett (stock48) on here and see what he thinks. He has proven time and time again to have some of the best turbo cams out there.

Why on God's green earth would you close the intake valve that late with a port that has the cross section of a ls3 head not to mention the gigantic intake valve it also has.
