Question Balance / Blueprint

Hey Guys, I've heard a thousand times that a balance/blueprint was a good thing, but at the risk of sounding like a complete moron, what does this mean? I'm sure balance has mostly to do w/ pistons, and crank, but what is the blueprint part of it? Will it really give you a higher safe redline? How much does it generally cost to have this done? Are there any other benifits? I know, total dork , but what better place to get info?? Any insite would be greatly appreciated.

Default

I was going to start a new thread, but that wouldn't be fair, so I'll ask here. Is the LS6 intake manifold a good buy? It's one of the last pieces of my breathing that needs to be done, but if it's not going to be noticable, then why waste the moolah?? Has anybody here put one on a basically stock motor, to give me a decent idea of what I can expect? Thanks as always fellas..... and dolls. (as I know you're here too.)
