That's the spirit!

It's going to be damn impressive for a set of stock casting 243 heads to go over 500rwhp.

We have a customer with basically the exact same heads down to a T. His are 232cc intake runners, 2.08" intake valves and 1.575" exhaust valves. His are on a 416 and he has a Fast 102 intake. Through a 6 speed in a GTO drive train and with a 242/249 112+6 camshaft he made 524rwhp/501rwtq. He is right at 11.6:1 compression IIRC. He also has 1.75" headers!

For a set of stock casting 243's I think those are phenomenal numbers.

Not an issue with aftermarket pistons.

Give me a call at the shop tomorrow.

Matt,

I haven't been able to get a hold of Phil since you called and talked to me yesterday. Hoping to hear from him tomorrow. We will not charge your card until I hear from him.

Yes sir! 2.10 valves are going in! Hoping that they're done some time next week and we can go pick them up.

Matt,

Your heads sir....

http://www.advancedinduction.com/Ima..._Flowsheet.png

He was unfortunately only able to fit 2.08" intake valves, but look at those mid lift flow numbers! Exhaust is extremely strong as well.

Looks like a winner to me!

If anyone is interested in this port/valve combination for a set of 243/799's they have contact me about them as I am a dealer for Ai and I can have this work done for you as well. Look at it as an "in between" for CNC stock casting heads and aftermarket "As Cast" or CNC cylinder heads.

2.08" Manley intake valves and 232cc port program is $1395.00. If you want to have a larger exhaust valve done as well for maximum gains from a stock casting head that can be worked out also.

Hopefully soon.

These will actually flow even higher on your motor since you have a 4.030" bore as well. Not enough to really make a difference, but just FYI Phil flowed them on a 4.0" bore as you can see.

I know the wait will be worth it! I think these stock castings will give a set of as cast castings a run for their money.

Looks good Matt!

Phil actually asked me the other day if you had made any noise yet.

All that I'am needing is carb, starter, headers, and flywheel. Should be just a couple more weeks. The photo was taken before the accessory drive system was put on.

It's a carb'd engine.
