While looking for a complete front accessory drive setup I came across a 2001 Corvette LS1 drop out, that's for parts. (It's en route, BTW) So, my question is, does anyone know if that engine came with the LS6 intake? From what I've read, it should. How about the cam? Would it be better than the LS1 cam out of the f-body cars? Also, it has the 241 heads on it. Should I use them instead of the LM7 heads?

Yes it has a ls6 intake... It's just a ls1 engine, same as f-body of the same year... Except it will have a corvette oil pan and accessory brackets...
And stock 241 heads vs your trucks heads is a wash IMHO... The truck heads will bump up CR a hair but I would leave the 241 heads on the engine if you get it...
And wait till you port the heads or decide on aftermarket heads before you tear into that engine..
Good luck either way..
Oh and look for the part# on the intake to be sure it is a ls6... It should have #12561182 or #12561184 I'm betting.. Those are typical 01 ls6 intake numbers for corvettes that I always stumble upon..
12573572 is a ls6 as well

the cam is the same as a f-body of the same year!
the 01-02 ls1's came with a slightly smaller cam If I recall, but came with a ls6 intake to compensate for that and keep HP the same... someone correct me If im wrong
Its not worth buying new Head gaskets and head bolts and labor to take those 241 heads off to just put stock truck heads on from your lm7...
you should run the engine the way it is and send your truck heads out to get some work done to them and wait till you get a cam and a few supporting mods, then do a Head/cam swap all at once...
this is what I would do
