I will be building the bottom end along the way. Havent started my research on the bottom yet.

A high strung engine build for max effort will be awful with boost.

If you plan to turbocharge, then get turbo components. Those will not make good power n/a

Ya I know. That's what I'm planning on. I'll probably be around 450rwhp n/a give or take. A lot more thought has went into it after heavy research. Thanks for the info.

Bottom end is different for boost vs NA as well.

NA you want lightweight components. Weight is evil.

Boost, you want something that will live in high boost, high temp environments.

For example, an NA build will be much cheaper. You can go with lightweight H-Beam or cheap I-beam rods, 4032 pistons, and the stock crank with some lightweight tricks done to it.

A boost build would require some high-grade I beam or heavy H-Beam rods, 2618 pistons with a thicker crown for boost, etc.
