Meth Inj. On N/A Setup

Meth Inj. On N/A Setup
What are everyone's thoughts on running a meth injection set up N/A? I am currently running 11.1:1/8.29:1 compression at 29* of timing. I am looking for that "extra little bit" still left on the table by bumping up the timing.
I was looking into the Snow Performance stage 2 kit that runs off of MAF frequencies for spray. Do you think I can pick up an extra 20whp with the kit?
Current Mods:
2002 LS1
Tv2 Cam 114lsa
A.I. 226cc Heads
Ported FAST92 Intake
92mm TB
1 3/4 TSP Headers
3" ORY
FTP 98mm Lid
85mm MAF
455whp & 412tq 29* timing

Here is a thread I started a few weeks ago asking the same thing. Lots of good information in here.

Thanks for the link! I did a quick search and didnt see your previous thread about the same question. I would really like to see some dyno results from people who have tried the meth kits... I do know that I am running on the very edge with my tune at 29* of timing and 12.8-13.0 AFR.
And from my understanding, adding meth injection would also make your tune "richer" which from a retune you could also benefit from the added fuel to lean out the mixture along with more timing... It all sounds great on paper, but really want to see some results!

CorvetteForum has a lot on this. SpinMonster is a great resource as he does NA vettes and always recommends it. Usually it ends up with 20rwhp or so of a gain.
I will be pushing the ragged edge... 11.6:1 SCR and 8.9:1 DCR. I want a lot of timing and methanol will help... especially in the heat.

Stay tuned for results from "therabidweasel", he just added a snow meth kit to his setup and is in the middle of processing his dyno data as far as I know. He was getting KR at WOT on the dyno at 8.5:1 DCR if i recall correctly.
Considering the same here to be able to throw more timing at it, I'll be at 11.5 and 8.8 - though I really hate to be dependent on meth to keep the motor together. Something like a dual flash pcm would be nice.

I run an Aquamist set-up on my CTS-V. Have not tuned it for meth yet, just waiting on my cam.

29* timing at the torque and power peaks? W/O KR?
That is very unusual.
I've seen a number of tunes and most are in the 20-22* range and closer to 12.2:1 on 92/93 E10 pump fuel.
What are the cam numbers?
Or are you running E85?

He has a pretty low DCR too of 8.2. That allows for more timing.
The AI heads probably have some anti-detonation tricks as well.
When I talked to Tooley about additional porting on my TEA Stage 2s, that was basically the biggest thing he did, was to improve the chamber against detonation.

Being in CA I am limited to 91 and that's why I chose to stay low on the compression.

Thanks.
I don't have my DCR spec in front of me. I am at 11:1 static. Quench is .042"
I'm 226/230 .600 lif 114+3
I see KR at the dragstrip with 22* at torque peak.
I haven't had a chance to try better fuel to see if it fixes the issue, in which case I'd like to try Meth inj as well.
