90% sure i think this cam is trash but wanted expert opinions

I wouldnt trust it back in my motor if it was mine, thats all I can say. Lol

i wouldnt feel bad if it didnt scar up the cam bearing when the motor let go in my friends car haha

If those are gouges on the lobes and not just marks, then yes that cam is trash and it will trash the lifters as well.

The 3rd picture is normal camshaft wear.

I had a cam that had less damage than that and it still scared me...

It just depends, you could run some Emory cloth on it and deburr the main grooves and throw it in a junkyard 5.3..

But I wouldn't put that in a new build..
