What would cause scuffing on the piston skirts?

Oh don't feel to bad, it's just an excuse to upgrade lol. I know exactly what happened. I did a 3-2 shift wot and dry revved the smurf out of it. Ptv contact is evident on all the other good pistons. When I assembled it I had .90 and .120 intake and exhaust clearance.
