Default Estimated HorsePower Boost 02 Trans Am

My 2002 Trans Am I bought came with a very nice exhaust system. It consist of pacesetter long tube headers, no cats, SLP II Loudmouth. What would be the estimated boost in horse power. I have no lid yet or any other mods that I know of.

I would say in the 25 horses at the wheels over stock, most of that coming from the long tubes and a few from the catback. Removing cats might gain 1-3 hp at the wheels. Lid will probably be another 8-10 hp. My car made 355 at the wheels with LTs, SLP Cai and true duals and tune. Your car being an 02 will already have the better flowing Ls6 intake which compliment the full exhaust.

Not sure of hp gain prob right in line with other post but I can tell you my experience that when my car was stock it could do about 135mph top speed but once I added lid, cai, and loudmouth catback I took that baby off the speedo ~155-160... Those two mods are probably the best thing you can do for an LS car and you even have headers to boot so have fun and invest in an slp lid and matching cold air intake (cai)

It definitely gives the car an agressive muscle car sound. Loud at idol. I would guess cutting those cuts in part is what is making it louder than most slp exhaust systems. Where it shines is when you really get on it. I love the sound and it gets plenty of compliments.

One other thing. Some people say cutting the cats may do more harm than good. Sure, maybe it gets a few more horses but at the same times trips the check engine line and messes with the computer. Any truth to this?

Would you guys think I'm in the 350 horse range at the crank or even more than that? Just guestimating. I am hearing the LS1s, especially in 2002 are way underrated.
As far as tuning. Where could I get this done? Professionaly or using a hypertech tuner?

Yes, I plan on getting lid and cold air intake, as well as a functional ram air hood. Plus some 18 inch Torq Thrust II
