Iron 370 vs aluminum 376.i no there's a weight difference but is there any hp or torque difference with same heads cr etc

The 376 is a LS3? If you plan to boost it, go with the iron block. The LS3 might need a lot of extra work/parts if you plan on putting it into a gen III car.

If you plan on a big shot, the iron block is stronger and will handle a power adder better. I would plan on forged pistons and ARP rod bolts at a minimum.

The LS3 has more bore so I would imagine that's worth at least a few ponies plus it's aluminum so you'll be lighter as well.

Give me an aluminum block any day...I've never heard of anyone damaging an aluminum block unless you're trying to run a TON of boost
