Question dyno results correct?

New guy here... need some opinions on my dyno results. 98 c5 a4 with TPIS long tube headers, vortex, catless, B&B PRT, yankSS3800, CC 230/232 112, ls1edit complete dyno tune. The results were 350.4 max power and 363.3 max torque. Does this seem right? I dynoed 319 before the cam, yank, and tune, and now only 30 more rear wheel horsies after the cam, yank, and tune. Any comments appreciated!!

What I'm thinking is... dyno was done with the converter unlocked. I dont know much about how the lockup works, just know that a lot of people have seen diff in their torque and hp numbers locked vs. unlocked.

I only worry about the unlocked, since i dont race locked up (hard on trans/verter). Take her to the track, and see what she runs. I was a little dissappointed in my dyno #'s but the goal of 12.0 was nearly met on the first track event (post mod installs), ran a 12.163 spinning them nitto's off the line. Also i was shifting at 6089 with 0degree between shift (tq mgmt) with an SE of 4600 which is WAY too low for a cam/bolton car based on my dyno printout (see sig).

I'm maxxing out at 30.5 degrees timing with 0KR on my setup (see sig) on 93 octane bp/amoco gas. 3653 race weight with my **** taking up 200 of that lol i need to put myself on a diet.

Throw some shoes on her (ET slicks) and have a go at it. You'll probably find your your converter and torque is too much for nitto's. I could not get them to stop spinning with 3.42's. Throwing on a line lock (good idea for trans temps) and ET slicks will make your first jaunt that much easier. My first run was 13.1 because i thought the almighty nitto 555DR's were the shiznit but indeed that was not the case.

Remember your final drive will make a difference, so will flat tires (i run 25psi hot nitto DR's), misalignment of rear end, DA/heatsoak.

bottom line: datalog some passes at the 1/4 mile, watch the Total timing, KR, and shift points. Post up your dyno mate.. if you email to me mrkrad@comcast.net i'll host it for ya.

Locked up runs are nifty but unless you plan to abuse your trans/verter most of us disregard those.
