are you going to use that motor stand to bolt the k member on to the car?

No

I have to still install the rear main, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate then trans before installation.

Engine stand has to removed for that. Waiting for the control arms come in before I put that suspension on the new K member

gotcha, are those pistons going to allow the prc heads to get along with that cam?

Oh wow, your build is going to be practically identical to mine...TMS 370 LQ9, very similar cam, same heads, and LS6 intake. I'm anxious to see how yours turns out From what I understand my compression should be somewhere between 11.1-11.8 depending on what my 5.3 heads were milled to. Texas Speed is guessing they were probably around 61cc. I'm going with Diamond pistons though.

honestly I bought the heads so long ago for this I don't remember what they spec'd out for me but CR was supposed to be around 11.3 I believe.

No clearance issues

I had a fast planned out for this build but the project was bumped up 5 months so for now it will just be running a ls6. If we see in the tune air is an issue it will be addressed

Will you also be dynoing on the same dyno that you made the 411/393? If so this will be very interesting as I made almost the exact same hp as you with previous build, and will be going to that same dyno when i'm done as well

I would not put that together with an LS7 clutch.

IMO with the power you will be making that clutch isn't going to hold up. I'd put a good one in while it's apart.

If you are running on street tires, don't beat on it, etc... that clutch might do fine. I went with a McLeod RST twin disk myself

Damn I was not expecting to read that much negativity on the ls7. I May stick it in there for the time being just to get the car up and running.

Luckily they are cheap enough it's almost a throw away part. Pulling the trans is cake as well.

But thanks for pointing it out guys !

With the MS4 you will have a narrow power band, when you shift down you will be out of it during clutch engagement. I would think the LS7 will do fine.
