LS1 or LS2 ?
Parts that will be used on either shortblock are :
Fast 92/92 intake set-up
799 heads - AI 232 port program
1 3/4 headers / ory
Tick Performance Street Heat Stage 1 cam (ls1 or ls2 line up)
Stock rockers with Comp upgrade
LS7 lifters with LS2 trays
LS2 chain
Really leaning towards the LS2 for the added cubes and don't want an iron block.

There were some issues with cam fitment and possible bearing clearances, but Thompson took the lead on getting the motor back to them and fixing the problem for the customer.
In the end the root of the problem doesn't matter or what the actual problem was, it's how the problem is handled and taken care of that matters. Thompson handled it like a good shop would.
If I was looking for a short block and didn't have someone local to me to build me one, I'd highly consider a Thompson engine.
Thank you Martin. I know you do most of your work in house but we appreciate all of the work that is done with our motors in and around Tick and their products.
It's easy for me to recommend you guys as we now have two customers making very nice power with your short block and my cam combination.

223/231 .610/.617 115+4
1 3/4 bbk headers
magna flow catback
