just a few simple questions for future reference if that time ever comes.
But will the car idle better then with stock heads and 224 cam? Less surging and other issues...
Will I need any major tuning.. bascially will the car run like crap untill i get it tuned in?
If i ever run across a good deal on stage 2 heads ill probably get them, but for now im broke with house bills <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />
Its just that 10's are oh so close now and im getting the 10.99 bug <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

FWIW, my F1 cam ran very well with the stock heads and minimal tuning. I put the TEA 5.3's on, and it runs like hell. Major idle issues, and the A/F is all over the map. From my experience, you will need a lot of tuning. But that could be dependent on cam choice as well. You are letting way more air into the motor, and the PCM will go crazy trying to figure it out.

I just didnt want to have to go through hell again trying to tune this thing all over <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Thanks for the info <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
