Which Cam
I'm looking for a cam for my daily driven z28. I have almost all the bolt ons and will be putting this in with a AS 5.3L stage 2 heads.
TR 224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA
TR 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA
I'm wanting a street cam with plenty of power under the curve. Don't want a dyno queen.
Whats the advantages of each, more specifically the reverse split cam.
Thanks.

id go with something with a bit more lift to take more advantage of those heads...but of the two id probably go with the tr224 for what you want being more power under the curve.

ditto.
or try an fms fm11 or fm10 on 112 lsa
Both cams would be great for a daily driver. The TR230 likes lower gearing but you have that covered with your 4.10s. Both the 224 @ 230 make almost the exact lowend and midrange power but around 5500rpms the 230 will begin to pull away from the 224 and will peak a couple hundred rpms higher and generally make around 10+ rwhp over the 224. The reverse split design of the 230 allows it to make the same lowend power of the 224 and also outpower it up top. TR makes great proven power making cams and either would suit your needs fine.
