need my 6.0 to run better

hey guys i just got an 01 gmc 3/4ton with a 6.0 and i want it to run better just wonderin how you guys get them runnin better? i wanna get it to around 400 horse

Just a tune helps those a lot GM made some bad compromises
to pacify the EPA.
