Can anybody please advise what thermostat I should be using for an L33 using a corvette water pump?

I think I read the stat housings are also different between the truck and car water pumps. Is this true?

I'm pretty sure that it only matters what came out of it. There are two types of thermostats....two piece units where the housing and thermostat are separate and one piece units where they are an integral unit. I have the attached in my 5.3 and it was listed for a Corvette. It is a one piece unit.
