Default LQ9 budget build...yes another one

So I'm picking up an LQ9 (2004) in the next couple weeks and have been reading a lot of threads on here for basic upgrades. From what I've read the ls6 cam is a good choice, now with that being said which intake manifold should I go with? the fast 90 seams to be a good choice but I'm not sure how easily I can find one up here in Canada for cheap-ish. FWIW this is going into an S10 and I'm not looking for crazy power, just enough to blow by my buddy's mustang. Also ill be running long tubes and am tossing around the idea of getting the heads milled 0.030" if it doesn't break the bank. Any input would be greatly appreciated as I'm new to the ls series engines.

With that cam you really won't benefit much from the FAST intake. A LS6 will do just fine IMO

I just found an ls6 intake not far from me today for a reasonable price, I think I might go pick it up then.
I also have a quick question about the heads.. I found a reputable machine shop to mill the heads down 0.030" and also do a mild street port and polish, now my question is what valves would be ideal for this cam/intake combo?
