Default taking lifters apart

Since I have my lifters out of the engine. I would like to take them apart and clean them. Whats the best way to get them apart and what chemical should I use to clean them with? Are the easy to put back together once they are apart?

They are indeed easy to take apart. Use a small flat screw driver and pull the clip out and pull the pieces out ,,,,,I believe theres 5 pieces inside including the spring clip. What I do is use a paper towel and clean each piece, clean the inside of the main body, then clean the roller bearing real good , stretch the spring back out a little, then put a few drops of motor oil inside th and oil the roller bearing and assemble ,,,,,,,,,good to go
