Default I'm new & need some info

I'm hoping to drop an LS1 engine into my 85 C-10 & I was wondering if someone could give me some info on drivetrain/rear differential. Will I need to change or modify them to fit the tranny that the LS engine is gonna have. Or can I keep the differential/drivetrain on it? Any info/help is appreciated

Head over to the Conversion & Hybrids area of this board and try there.

The diff will be fine, you will need a custom length drive shaft depending on what trans you run, and the crossmember may need to be moved to adjust for different transmission lengths. Like said above, the conversions/hybrids page will give you tons of info.
