228r is only 4 degrees overlap. Tighten that to 110+2 and squeeze even more out of it. That will make it 8 degrees overlap and 42 ivc.
My favorite would be 109 lsa/109 icl, 10 degrees overlap, equidistant IVO/EVC from TDC and 43 IVC. I think this would be a good 'all around' cam.

Definitely not trying to be a dick here, but after WITNESSING 3 cars at different times being tuned with a 228r, that's EXTREMELY high. As in, an extra 50.

I read this right, correct? 460 with a 228r?

More info on set-up and who tuned it...?

Default imo

Seems to me that anything 12ish or better just shouldn't be a daily driver. If your not running real sticky tires its all just a waste of hp. Tires will cost you 400.00 a year easy (DD). Gas, springs, stock rears and trans....I myself like to pace myself and do the weekend warrior thing. Gives the car more fangs just driving it out of the garage when needed.

Question.... Would it be wise to swap your intake springs for your exhaust springs @ around 6000 miles on some of these more aggressive intake cams?

One more Question

On my new build would it be wise to go with stock ls1 specs(piston .008 out cold). .030 head gasket w/241's stock deck unmilled. Squish of .023 cold .033 hot for apr 11.5 comp cold 9.5 hot? using a tic torque '227/235 110+4 ? ....93 oct?

I run 340 tread wear tires on a daily basis and DR when I go goof around. You get use to the power quite easily. You can easily drive around any amount of power as long as it idles and doesn't overheat.

12 sec car is not that fast IMHO. People run that stock with today's cars.

Damn impressive numbers for given setup. Those PRC's are stout.
