Default Cam only ls1 questions

Looking for a little guidance in cam selection. This winter I'm dropping kframe motor and trans assembly to do a mini overhaul on my 98 Camaro with m6 and 4.10 gears. The car wasn't taken car of and there are worn parts that needs attention my plans are new bushings and motor mounts and any engine gasket that needs attention. I also plan on a cam install along with ls2 timing chain, ls6 ported oil pump, new water pump. My question is what cam should I go with. Car will have those parts along with lt headers, ory, catback ls6 intake mani unless I find a cheaper fast or similar intake. The car is not my dd I don't care if I suffer from drivability I only drive it maybe once or twice a week and never long distance. I'm looking for big gains and I know it doesn't mean power but I would also like a choppy idle so leaning towards a lower lsa. I don't plan on doing heads this year so just springs and pushrods and no fly cutting. So far what's looking towards my plans is an ms3 any other or better suggestions? Sorry for the rant but I like to be detailed. I don't plan on much else because that's about my limit with funds but I'm not ruling out maybe a few other things. Mostly just heads are out of the picture

Nothing wrong with going with the MS3, but if you are willing to do the Ms3, I would just go ahead and do the Ms4. It will be about the same peak but also a little more average.

I have a cam very similar to a M3, and it's a blast! Big lopey idle, and tons of mid range and top end power

What is the advantage disadvantage with ms3 vs 4
