Ls1 to ls2 ? 99 trans am help

Ls1 to ls2 ? 99 trans am help So I finished my 4l80 swap and made it a block and now my ls1 is knocking. I haven't pulled it apart yet but I am wanting to something a little different to make more power. So I have a friend who crashed his 2005 gto and will sell me his ls2. I'm just making sure my heads/cam/intake will swap. And how much difference is will make. I wanting to spray also I need to know what I need internally for that. Do I need to go find a forged block or will this one work?

I swaped my top end over to a LQ9, and it was pretty much a direct bolt on. Your torque will come in a little sooner, but you won't gain much in hp (maybe 10 hp or so) with all else being totally equal
