Hp gains??
I have a 98 trans am Bone stock this my second f body but the first LS1. Anyway I want a little more juice out of the car it's not fast enough for me lol an since I'm on a budget I can't afford H/C package and so on. So I looked at budget mods. If I were to install an Slp lid Pacestter LTs with a loudmouth exhaust and an ls6 intake since the 98's don't come with 1 approximately how much hp should I gain. I know it varies from car to car but just an estimate I'm at 305/?? Now wat should be my numbers after these mods and yes I'm still a rookie so forgive me experts lol btw I'm still fairly new to this forum so I don't know if this is the right section for this so if someone can point me in the right direction I would appericate it

Okay first of all the LS1 is underatted, and is more like 330-350 hp at the motor. Most dyno around 290-310 rwhp on your average Dynojet. With that said, and you being an auto with the mods you listed, you might be looking around 330 ish at the wheels (but remember dynos can vary) so that would be close to 400 hp at the motor

The mods you mentioned are fine, but maybe to save a few bucks, hold off on the loudmouth catback and get a cutout. You'll be loud when you want, then quiet when using your stock catback.
Now a stall is a MUST for all autos. Its doesn't add HP that you want when on the dyno, but will help you take off faster. Usually good to knock off at least .3-.5 tenths of your 1/4
Good luck with your build and don't be afraid to ask us anything. We were all in the same boat and one time

I put a lid, stall and tune on my son and brothers cars and they run 12.80s. With boltons you can run mid to low 12's depending on what converter you buy. Get a good 3600 converter (circle d or yank), also TUNED BY FROST does a good tune for 150. Look at spending around 1200.00. These are the best bang for the buck i put on my car.
