That's a pretty significant gain. I bet the headers are going to make a world of difference. What brand/size headers?

Ya I was impressed with the gain.

The headers are XSPower 1 7/8" catted fully 3" through the mufflers. They're basically a nice quality, ARH knockoff. I have a vette, so sorry American vendors, but I'm not spending a ludicrous $1600 for catted headers (not like they care lol)

I'm sure it'll be a big difference. It's going to be interesting to see how close, mph wise, I get to my old max effort 460 rwhp h/c/i cathedral setup with this wonky setup. If I can trap 122-123, I'd say they're equal considering this forged motor is lower compression. I trapped 124.6 in the old setup, but it was in arctic air. It was normally a 123.5ish trap car.

No way - I call BS - Everyone one knows those rectangular port heads are not good for making small bore engine combinations quicker.

LOL I was one of them! I like trying new stuff though and BSP had a very attractive price. I am sure the MAST 62cc ones work even better. Would love to see someone try those on a 347.

There is one guy on here running them. I'm pretty sure he's from Australia and his numbers and track times were really impressive for such a heavy car.

In for results...I also like the idea of seeing someone trying something new and different every once in awhile. Good luck with your build OP.

Titokang, looking forward to following this build. Make sure to start a build thread in this section and keep us updated on the progress. Those heads are almost too perfect to bolt on. Ed will hook you up with a great cam too. Great choice.

Yeah they're so horrible that GM decided to use a rectangular port on the even smaller bore Gen5 5.3

Yessir, Chris over at mast quoted me 460 I believe for the hollow stem/ inconel valves so not bad that's pretty much on par with a trick flow/AFR setup.

So are those the valves you are running in the heads? How much total do you have invested in them, heads and valve train?

Phones acting funky, but I haven't ordered the valves yet but I'm set on them just like I was set on running these. so far I have 2250 in the bare heads and ls3 intake. I already have the ls3 rail on my 102 setup along with the fast 92 tb. all I need to find is some used injectors but I have a lead on some locally for 100 bucks. I have 1600 in my fast setup alone, should a done this sooner lolz

So you're looking at another $460.00 for the valves? What springs you going to run? I guess you can't really determine that until you get the cam specs.

Only 2300 for the masts? Damn, when I was looking at the small bores all I could find was a $3300 price, which is why I went with the budget BSPs.

If I knew about these for $2300 I would have picked them up.
