LS1 (C5) vs LQ4 flex plate?
I did a search on this and found a bunch of conflicting info.
I've got a good SFI flex plate for a LS1 C5 vette but i'm working on a LQ4/4L80E swap and I know there are more bolt holes for the torque converter but are there any other differences? I'd like to put the SFI on the LQ4.
If so, who sells a better than stock LQ4 flex plate? I looked on the net and couldn't find any, just a bunch for LS1's.
Thanks!

The LS1 (5.7) SFI flexplate will work on the LQ4 (6.0) as long as both crankshafts are the 6 bolt design (flexplate to crank). The problem you may run into is that the 4L80E does require a specific flexplate so the SFI LS1 flexplate you have will need to be compatible. If not Hughes does offer a GM LS-based motor to 4L80E flexplate
