ARP rod bolt question

Default ARP rod bolt question

bought some arp rod bolts get them in the mail and they say chevy small block ls1/ls6 "cracked" rod bolts. my question is what does the cracked stand for did i buy the right ones?

It just means the type of mating surface between the rod and the cap. The big end of the rods are put in a machine and fractured to create the mating surface between the rod and the cap.

ahhh yes makes since i forgot they were made as one piece then broke, thanks for the explanation
