any plans to send the FAST out to Mamo or Vengeance for porting? You picked a large cam, is this your DD? I got a mid 23x's cam for my build.

just my weekend warrior... don't really like putting miles on it lol .. had it for 6 years and put a total of 15k miles on it and that's only because one of my other cars broke down.... I was thinking about getting it ported... do you know how much of a HP increase it would be getting it ported?

you prob gain about 10 hp and tq in porting it. If i didnt have the desire to put miles on my car I would have gone with a similar sized cam as you. So once im done with my build and you are, I'd like to see how much power I left on the table! lol

Got a few more things done today got the heads installed and torquered down and checked or length tell me if this sounds right

I got my Ls6 243 heads milled 0.20 custom can by Martin with shims for my springs I'm coming up with 9.5 turns on the comp PR length checker I'm running ls7 lifters

With 0.050 preload I'm getting 7.275 and with
0.075 preload I'm getting 7.300

Do I want to run more preload or less Perkins which do you guys think is better to run before I order
