Default Need moar power! When to worry about lifting heads?

Running a stock 2000 lq4 with valve springs, pushrods, and timing chain. Currently at 8psi and I'm wanting to buy a meth kit and up the boost.

In general, at what point do you need to worry about lifting heads? Also what about pushing gaskets. Can you get by with head studs only? Or do you need yo do gaskets too?

Go with ARP studs and some GM MLS gaskets and let it eat. Detonation will lift the heads before the boost levels your looking at... The meth injection should keep it good and safe.
