Default spun cam bearing, block ok or trash

So I spun a cam bearing in my 2000 LQ4, lasted one night less than 30 minutes of tuning and started squeeking and oil pressure was acting funny. I had chalked it up to a bad oil pump/sucking air and took the cam to machine shop and have it checked and polished. Same weekend I came across a 2006 LQ9 and went and installed the cam in proceeded to cruise it around for about a hour and change the oil since it was a junkyard find. when I did lots of metallic and shavings in the oil so I started at the cam and again same bearing spun out the block and stuck itself to the cam.

My question is, who has dealt w this and was your block no longer good and able to hold a new bearing or did it check out okay at the machine shop? Yes I know the thing to do is pull it and take it to them but im trying to get together a plan and not waste the money if not needed. trying decide if a another JY find is my route and selling this or fixing it
