Yes i am using an OEM ls6 intake so it looks like i will be shifting at 7000 as long as like i said in the original post you guys think my bottom end will be alright, which sounds like i should be fine from the way you guys are talking.

If you're gonna shift at 7k then have your rev limiter set at 7200 so your not bouncing off of it when you shift. Also, these aluminum blocks aren't very forgiving of steel connecting rods flying loosely around in them! Good luck.
