Hello guys... Recently purchased my 05 V with a LS6...suppose to have patriot stage II ported heads and a MS4 cam already. Along with springs/pushrods/lifters headers etc...I'm curious what my next step is for good N/A bang for the buck. I'm assuming I'm looking at a intake and throttle body but wanted to ask you guys first.

any idea how much improvement it would make? Would my heads be my weakness after that?

 

The LS6 intake is pretty good on it's own, but a FAST 102 for 800 bux should get you a good 15-20rwhp. Throw in a nice 4" CAI and grab another 10rwhp or so.

 

ponies per $ seems to be fairly low there...I hate to add any injectables but I really think a 100 or 150 HP shot is going to be hard to turn down if a intake/TB/CAI might net me 30 HP.

 

That seems to be the pertaining issue modding N/A cars, small return on investment especially compared to an $800 nitrous kit that can add upwards of 150rwhp.

 

once you have heads/cam/full exhaust bang for buck goes out the window...it's all little things after that
