Default How does this combo look

Stock bottom end Ls1 from 02 Camaro with PRC 225cc as cast heads, 233/239 595in 603ex lift 109 lobe sep. angle, Vic Jr Intake, 750 or 850 carb, around 11.1 compression with the 62cc heads, 1 7/8 headers, only accessories will be alternator and water pump turning. TH400 with 4500 converter and trans brake, 3100lb car. Will be mostly strip car but driven on street some. Any guesses on how much hp or et. Also welcome for any changes to combo. Thanks!

I don't know a lot about cams but a "233/239 109 lsa?..."4500 converter"?...."driven on the street"?...in Roanoke, Va??? I don't see you making it out your neighborhood before gettin 3 tickets.

Sounds like a badass combo but you might wanna think twice about puttin her on the street.

Now that's funny, an LS is really the only way to make a mustang fast lol...anyway nice call on the cam, I have a carbed LS and the fuel injection cam def isn't the best, that 109 lobe seperation will work a lot better, also ran a 750 and 650 carb on my 5.3 and in def liked the 750 better, just to give you a point of reference...should be a bad *** ride...I would recommend a 4 speed manual though!

Haha yeah I picked up the Mustang for cheap because the 4.6 had a bad wrist pin knocking. Texas speed spec'd the cam on that lsa for the carb. Thanks for the tip on the carb size. I think I will call Pro Systems and get them to build me a carb for it. I like the 4 spd manual idea but I'm looking mainly to drag it and the auto would be easier on the suspension!

Man that thing is gonna be sick! Have you got the suspension set up to handle all that power yet?

The front has an AJE tubular K-member and A-arms with Strange adjustable drag struts and coil over kit with 175lb springs. I have not made it to the rear of the car yet. I will get it done by the time the motor goes in. I hope to run low 7s in the eighth but who knows.
