need choppy sound but thats it?? help please

What you'll want is a small cam ground on a lower lsa. Contact one of the sponsors,they can set you up.FWIW,the cam I have has about the same advertised duration as a stock cam,but is a little bigger af .050 lift on a 112lsa.more overlap will give you a choppier idle.

Actually the 224/228 cam will require a small stall. You cannot go bigger than the 224R cam (224/224 114lsa) on a stock stall or you will lose too much vacuum and your brakes will not work as they should.

IMO, Any that has enough overlap to have a very noticeable cammed sound is going to need a higher stall TC(2800 or higher), at least for drivability reasons. Otherwise find some mufflers she likes the sound of, and have a tuner adjust the tune for a more cammed sound while keeping the idle down in the 500-600rpm range.
