I love all the blame the tuner advice. That's exactly why I won't do **** for people unless I know them really well.

I wouldn't say anyone was "blaming" the tuner, but c'mon. A heads and cam car dialed in perfectly from a mail order tune?

I think we can all agree a mail order tune is best for bolt on only, and with internal mods that it's just to get you to the tuner with a wideband and real time monitoring of everything.

Don't know if you tune or not, but getting a VE table to function semi correctly is not that big of a deal. Getting it within shot of the O2s to make it drive-able is a cake walk. Timing, idle, and that other crap comes quickly with experience. Tuning is not some mythical creature, it only appears that way outside of the circle. Plus, I find myself reminding a lot of people, these combos have been done over and over and over and over. It's so cut and dry it's ridiculous. Seriously. I encourage anyone to learn to tune, that way there isn't some unknown to quickly point the blame at.

I don't know anything about tuning, but I do know it would run like crap if it wasn't tuned correctly. I'm sure it's close with the amount of tunes he's done. It's a common setup, I bet I'm good.
