Default ls1 lifter preload

Replaced the lifters in my stock ls1. Looking for correct preload order found a few references but wanted to make sure. Does it start with intake valves on 8 < > 6. Then moving on.

I assume you mean this is a stock setup and you are re-installing the rocker arms. If so, here is the GM procedure:

The stock LS valve train is not adjustable so lifter preload is set. If you didn't make any changes to your motor such as milling the head, then follow the procedure vettenuts posted and your good. If you did some valve train modifications, then you might have to get different length pushrods to adjust preload depending on what mods you did.

If your talking about the rockers order.Just make sure the valve is closed and torque it down is the easiest way to do it.
