Default 5.3 Cam Question Gen III vs Gen IV

I have a 5.3 in a 2001 suburban that I want to replace the cam with a regrind from colt cams, I am looking for a core that I can send off and I have found one a brand new one from a 2005 trailblazer that I think is a Gen IV cam, can I use this cam in a Gen III block with a minimal amount of modifications? I have looked on ebay, craigslist etc and I have not found that many cheap 5.3L cams, if this one won't work any ideas on where to find one that will? Thanks for the help.

Is a regrind that much cheaper? I would rather have a new cam, myself.
